Company and product overview

Live sports need a shared digital stadium.

FanLobby is an all-in-one second-screen app for football fans. It combines live match statistics, a fast arena chat with emotes and live reactions, in-depth fan lounges, prediction games, moderation and profile cosmetics in one Flutter app powered by Firebase and Google Cloud.

What FanLobby Builds

Watching football is social, emotional and live, but the digital experience is fragmented across score apps, group chats, forums and prediction tools. FanLobby brings these moments together in one product: live match context, community conversation and fan identity around the same fixture.

Startup Program Fit

FanLobby is a digital-native product startup, not a client-services agency, consultancy or traditional small-business website. This page describes the FanLobby product venture: a scalable consumer software platform for live sports communities with a public web product, active support channel, legal notice and external app-store listing.

Product Proof

FanLobby is a launched production product with public product surfaces. Reviewers can open the live product, inspect match and community features, verify the Android and iOS listings and confirm the founder/operator information from public links on the same domain.

Live web app

The production web app is publicly available at fanlobby.app and exposes the same FanLobby product domain used in the Google for Startups application.

Live match experience

Public match surfaces combine fixtures, live status, scores, statistics, lineups, incidents and match context so fans can understand the product from public entry points.

Arena chat

The arena layer is built for live community action: real-time fan reactions, emotes, short messages, cheers, moderation and profile expression around the same fixture.

Lounges

Lounges provide deeper Reddit-style discussion spaces for teams and matches, with threads, comments, voting, moderation and community memory beyond the live chat.

Predictions

Prediction groups give fans a recurring reason to return, make picks, compare standings and compete socially without making the product dependent on gambling mechanics.

External validation links

FanLobby is listed on Google Play and the Apple App Store and includes public proof pages such as the World Cup hub, support page, privacy policy and legal notice.

Product

All-in-one match screen

FanLobby gives fans one live home for the match: score, clock, incidents, lineups, player context, match statistics, odds context and the surrounding community layer. The goal is to replace the current habit of jumping between score apps, group chats, forums and prediction tools during the same game.

Live arena chat

The arena chat is built for live community action and is inspired by the energy of live-stream chat. Fans can react together in real time with short messages, emotes, animated cheers, profile badges, name styling and future paid live-event effects.

Fan lounges

Lounges are designed for deeper discussion beyond the fast live chat. They follow a Reddit-style model with match and team spaces, threads, comments, voting, moderation and community memory that remains useful before and after the final whistle.

Predictions and groups

Prediction games and private groups turn live sports attention into recurring engagement. Fans can make picks, compare standings and compete with friends without making prediction scoring pay-to-win.

Fan identity and cosmetics

FanLobby includes public profiles, status badges, name colors, emotes, cheers and cosmetic surfaces that let fans express identity around teams and live moments. This creates a clear path to future freemium monetization with low marginal cost.

Trust and safety

The product includes authentication, report flows, moderation tools, bans, rate limits, privacy-first consent handling and server-side controls for a safer public community experience as the audience grows.

Company and Founder

FanLobby is operated by Maximilian Reiter in Germany as a registered sole proprietorship. FanLobby is the public product brand; Maximilian Reiter is the founder, operator and responsible contact for product, legal and support questions.

Status and Roadmap

FanLobby has a live production web product at fanlobby.app, published Google Play and Apple App Store listings, a dedicated production Firebase project, automated deploy workflows, test coverage for frontend, backend and Firebase rules, and active product operations through public support and legal channels on the same domain.

The product starts with football because live football has strong matchday emotion, frequent recurring events and existing online fan communities. The architecture is built around a normalized sports-data backend so future expansion can add more leagues, tournaments and sports without exposing clients directly to third-party data providers.

Platform Expansion Thesis

FanLobby is football-first, not football-only. The long-term product direction is a reusable live-event community layer for sports where fans watch together, react together and return across a season. The same core pattern can support additional sports and major events: a live data adapter, an arena chat, sport-specific statistics, lounges, prediction mechanics, moderation and fan identity.

Future roadmap candidates include more football competitions, international tournaments, domestic league seasons, cup finals, playoff formats and later additional high-attention sports. The product is designed so each new sport can keep the same community and identity foundation while adding its own stats, scoring model and event rhythm.

Google Cloud and Firebase Usage

FanLobby is built on Firebase and Google Cloud because the product needs real-time interaction, reliable identity, server-side data normalization, cloud-hosted functions and scalable mobile/web delivery.

Google Cloud credits would be used to support live product traffic, live-match spikes, backend load testing, stronger monitoring, App Check enforcement, Firestore and Realtime Database usage, Cloud Functions execution and Firebase Hosting bandwidth.

Business Model

FanLobby is currently bootstrapped and pre-funded. The business model is freemium: free access to core match, chat, lounge and prediction features, with future revenue from subscriptions, cosmetic fan identity, premium emotes, animated cheers, live-event effects and carefully reviewed partnerships. The strongest monetization surfaces are tied to fan expression and live emotion rather than pay-to-win mechanics.

The model is inspired by proven community platforms: recurring status and identity through subscriptions, moment-based spending through live reactions, and long-term retention through season participation, groups and fan profiles. Prediction scoring remains skill-based and not pay-to-win.
